Prosecutor Craig Jones said the intoxicated pair were
arrested on the service in February last year.
The court heard they were released under investigation - but the following day Booth carried out an armed robbery
of a shop.
Mr Jones said Booth targeted a Lifestyle Express store in Swansea with an accomplice while brandishing an axe.
Booth, of Hafod, Swansea, was given a nine-year extended sentence as a dangerous offender for that
incident.
The court heard Hearn was sentenced to two years in prison in March this year for assault occasioning actual
bodily harm.
Judge Geraint Walters said the pair had been 'openly handling the drugs on the train.' |
