I enjoy electronics. Radio is fun and I am a Ham or amateur radio person. My call sign is M0DXU, however I currently own no radios.
I am American by birth and spent the first 50 years of my life there before meeting online a lovely Yorkshire lass I could not live without. She was raising a 10 year old boy and it was decided for his sake it would be best for me to move to England.
I have always had visiting England on my life list of things to do, but never ever thought I'd be living here. It was the best thing I have ever done I believe. |

| I was working with SETI many years ago shortly after they started the SETI@Home program. I crashed my computer(one of many) and lost my account until I got back into it here in England in 2003. Then later on had computer troubles again and SETI came out with a new program I was not impressed with and gave it up for a while. I am back into it now as they seem to have a good program that also allows me to do work for other projects like Asteroids@home. I am currently running 4 projects. Don't know how long I can or will run them all, but hope it works out for all of them. Having only joined Asteroids@home today I can't really say much about it. Just wait and see how it goes, I guess. |
