Craigslist spammers and scammers try to draw you into their net by
making you believe you have just received an incredible offer.
Craigslist advises users to avoid scams and fraud by not accepting personal checks,
money transfers via online wire services, cashier's checks or
money orders, as these can all be faked. It also recommends avoiding deals that
involve shipping or escrow services. One main rule when using Craigslist is to keep your transactions local where you can meet the person in a public place
-- and have someone with you when you do. Legitimate offers usually come from someone in your area.
Their email address will come from Craigslist itself as indicated previously and may include specific questions on the item.
Someone honestly interested in your offering will want to know more details,
ask if you are open to haggling or ask if the product
has been sold yet. Illegitimate offers usually
come from someone out of the area and ignore your request for "cash only" by suggesting
another means to pay for the item. Even with these protections
in place, dishonest people still use the Craigslist
system to spam people. Craigslist management constantly fights
hackers who harvest emails from Craigslist's system or use malware to send spam to
unwary users. To avoid problems with spammers, the FTC advises online buyers and sellers to select one email for online shopping and another for friends and personal use.
Report any suspicious emails from the site
to Craigslist via its contact form on the site. The U.S.
Department of Justice also provides resources for reporting spam

Safe Lists Only This is the most restrictive option. Any message that isn't from someone on your Safe
Senders List or isn't to a mailing list on your Safe Recipients List, is classified as junk.
You can instruct Outlook to delete all suspected junk messages rather than moving them to the Junk
E-mail folder, but this eliminates your ability to review messages for potential false positives, so consider the risks

Check the box that says "Permanently delete suspected junk email instead of moving it to the Junk E-mail folder"
on the Options tab. This is a great question! As you have correctly observed, spammers frequently send their messages
from different email addresses each time, and these addresses are

you can check the internet headers of several junk emails in this manner,
and if they are all sent from the same domain name, add that spammer to the Block senders list.
Spam! Those annoying, useless email messages that clog up your
Inbox; even if you have a spam filter, a few spam messages are bound to get through.Fortunately, Microsoft Outlook makes it incredibly simple to block spammers and
prevent them from sending you additional emails.
This is where GPT-4 really shines! To allow people to access this
model as a service in a simple way, the easiest interface is an SMS bot.
When a user receives a suspicious-looking email they can forward the SMS
to a phone number. The model will run in response
to the receipt of the message and reply with its opinion and an explanation of How

I used ClickSend to build a quick prototype of this, it’s very easy
to get set up and test SMS integrations, although their JavaScript tooling has something to be desired.
When I first started testing this I had my account blocked on ClickSend due to the content of the messages I

via email and I was very quickly reinstated when I explained my use case.
I simply have any inbound SMS on a number I purchased (in my case a UK mobile number) sent to an endpoint.
In that endpoint, I read the sender’s
number and message. I then call the GPT-4 chat completion endpoint and when I receive the result,
I forward it to the user. I used Next.js for this because coupled with vercel deploy
it’s just the easiest, most pleasant way to stand up a web application in the current era in my opinion. Take a look at the repo on GitHub if you’re interested.
I’d like to understand how useful this service would be to people on a large scale.
If it is I can spend some more time building it into an actual
