Skype is not available right out of the box for ChromeOS.
There is a a work around but requires using a program
to convert the Android Version to work in ChromeOS.
I have lots more I could say, but I’m getting the evil eye from the wife,
time to get off of Reddit! I can’t recommend a
Chromebook/Box more, especially for non tech folks. And is
wonderful for us who have to run tech support. Makes our job so much easier!
I tell people to first examine their primary needs and research
if they can be met with ChromeOS, before buying. Understand it’s limitations.
If you go into it knowing exactly what you are getting, then it
is a wonderful experience. I was hooked. I want a Chromebook for my mother-in-law!
120? I would have bought that yesterday if I knew exactly what to do and how long
it would take to setup. I’d have spent another $120 on a guide that gave me exactly what
I needed, super-custom to my exact use-case and background.

that if somebody asks for a fictional version, that you don’t give enough details, right?
I mean, Hollywood screenwriters don’t give enough details when they
have, you know, illustrations about building bombs.
They give you a little bit of the flavor, they don’t give you the whole thing.
GPT-4 doesn’t really understand a constraint like that.

Server Port will be 995 and Security Type will be SSL.
Tap on ‘Next’ now. Step 4: Set the SMTP server to ‘smtp.juno.com’.
Server Port will be 465 and Security Type will be SSL.
Step 5: User can also customize the account name and display name.

Another issue with the average spam filter is they do nothing to educate
the user. A binary flagging of spam/ham helps to protect
but it does not equip a user with the knowledge to recognise such malicious messages themselves.
I recently got access to the GPT-4 API and from initial experiments was impressed with the advance made
compared to the earlier models. I decided to try this out for the Smishing detector/educator use case.
The first thing I decided to try was to see how well GPT-4 performed
as a simple binary classifier against a public
dataset of SMS phishing messages. I used this SMS
Spam Collection Dataset from Kaggle. It’s quite an unbalanced dataset with
13% spam and 87% ham and from eyeballing
the text there seems to be a lot of Colloquial
Singaporean English but it’s a good start. You can train a classifier on this dataset
and get very good accuracy with many methods, such as naive Bayes, Random Forest etc but I was curious what metrics I could get simply by asking GPT-4 is this spam or ham?

Threshold. Another helpful idea for throwing bots off your tail is to create a “honeypot field.” This is a form that’s hidden within your page’s code and is
invisible to any real people that browse your WordPress site.

field, unaware that it will immediately expose them

to filter spam out of your life. But the reality is that it can sometimes be hit-and-miss.
Some of today’s more sophisticated bots may be capable of getting around your honeypot trap. |
