Sadly, if your email address is being used as a target for spam,
there is little that you can do to stop it; anyone that has your email
address can send email to it. This is true of any email provider.
While it is impossible to prevent spam from being sent your email
address, you have to “manage” it… First, be wary of any “unsubscribe” links
that may be embedded in the email messages. For the most part, unless
the unsolicited email is from a reputable advertiser, the unsubscribe
link will not stop the messages. Instead, clicking
the link will simply confirm to the spammer that
the email address is monitored by a warm-blooded victim - and more spam and unwanted content is likely to come your way.
Where the spam email is using “spoofed” email sender addresses, your block-list will be ineffective.
The best advice is to avoid becoming a victim. Be careful where you use your email address to subscribe to services.
Some users noticed that the venerable cron package was
missing from the Kali AWS Cloud image. This was not intentional,
and it’s now fixed. “The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear”, goes
the saying. And for those running Kali in a VM and using
RDP to connect, it’s been very quiet indeed, as the
sound never worked with this configuration. However this long period of silence is coming to an end!
Sound should be enabled and work out of the box from now on.

Seasoned Kali Linux users are already aware of this, but for the ones who are not, we do
also produce weekly builds that you can use as well. If you cannot wait
for our next release and you want the latest packages (or bug fixes) when you download the image, you
can just use the weekly image instead. This way you’ll have fewer updates to do.
Just know that these are automated builds that we do not
QA like we do our standard release images. But we gladly take bug reports about those
images because we want any issues to be fixed before our
next release! NOTE: The output of uname -r may
be different depending on the system architecture.

submit a report on our bug tracker. We’ll never be able to fix what we do not
know is broken! And Twitter is not a Bug Tracker!
Do you send an email to verify an email address? Email sending
is not used for email verification. We use a 4-tier verification process:
syntax check, MX record check, SMTP authentication, and catch-all address check.
Such multi-tier check guarantees maximum accuracy of email verification. Can you verify any email?
We will verify most email addresses, including custom domain emails.
We do not verify emails from catch-all domains. How fast
is your Email Verifier? All data is different, and the time it takes to process depends on the types of emails and on the domains
we are reaching out to. On average, our system processes a list of 100,000 emails in 45
minutes. How Often Should I Verify My Emails? Large lists should be checked at the very least,
once every two weeks. Smaller size lists can be checked
