Because long before TikTok popularized the "no-makeup make-up"
pattern, the world-famous make-up artist led that specific
revolution in the early '90s. At the time, thick layers of foundation, overdrawn lips and frosted shadows have been all the fad.
However, Bobbi got down to make ladies feel and appear like themselves, utilizing make-up to boost their features
instead of masking them. In the late 80s, whereas Brown was still working as a make-up
artist, she started talking to a person in a Kiehl's pharmacy.
Being inquisitive is a habit she's kept and it's served her properly — talking
to anyone who crosses her path literally helped Brown construct
her eponymous makeup company, which she sold to
Estée Lauder in 1995, making her a millionaire.
She continued to run the business as Chief Creative Officer
and turned it into an empire. "Um, properly, no," says
Brown, dropping this analogy that I have taken too far. This buildable inky black mascara thickens and fans the lashes with out
them clumping. Senior Beauty Editor Alexandra Friend says that in 20 years
in beauty, she's come throughout fewer than a handful of
mascaras that don’t immediately smudge on her. "I even have lengthy straight lashes that transfer most formulation onto my pores and skin within minutes, regardless of how careful I am. This is one of my success stories, with a deeply sooty look. I like it." Instead,
she went full drive and launched Jones Road—a line of cosmetics that brands itself as "clean no-makeup makeup."
Brown's products are a tailored to a "very particular sort of make-up and a really specific sort of clientele." Early on, she would walk
up to strangers in the park and ask them to test her merchandise.

"I would go to the park, and I would see all these different nationality ladies and I would ask them to attempt sure things and that's how I knew what labored on different skin colors."
