I wanted a British made device and inferred this was such from the ‘Sheffield England’ it says
on the handle and ‘since 1730’ on the
label. Imagine my massive disappointment and anger then on seeing Chinese characters on the blade once I’d remove the cover when I’d returned home!!
Sadly, it seems I’ve been misled and can return the device once I next visit
the shop and can keep away from their products in future. The deal with is double riveted on the fork of the Y and
there’s another rivet working through the deal with for further
power. This conventional ash and stainless-steel border fork is mild, snug to
use but very robust. Awarded a BBC Gardeners' World
Magazine Best Buy it comes with a formidable lifetime assure.
I've put up with this useless, poorly designed, tY9rW4jI8 heavy Shear for ages (well - barely used really after
preliminary disappointment - been sitting in shed till I received it out again today) because it was so costly.
It makes my back ache within minutes of use and is weighted/designed so that the person does the hard work rather
than the device.
