Servers are again experiencing with free space issues. We need to move more data out so there will be no new work for one or two weeks and BOINC compoments will be disabled. Uploading results should work as the space will be freeing up. If there is enough space I will activate other BOINC compoments so that results could be validated.

No, I am sorry. The other server is just for database and is operational for a few month. I just didn't add it to the description. And server_status page doesn't show status of database so I forgot to add it there.

Thanks very much for the information update, hope you manage to get all the work sorted out smoothly.

Just wondering if returned results will be able to be validated at some point soon? One of my computers has about 600 results to validate with another 400 or so in progress, these time out on the 31st May/1st June.

They are stray apostrophes, roaming the air around you, looking for opportunities to leap into capitals-only sentences where they do not belong.

Keep taking the tablets and they will go away again.

Everything looks good from the perspective of this cruncher :) Units seem to be finishing in good short order, not taking quite as long (65 second WU- Kyong, you rock!), upload and download seem to be going fine. And everything that had backed up while the servers were down was accepted and confirmed. I'm liking it... :)

When we see updated results with individual credit, I have done a fair bit of processing and I've not seen any results.

Good day Asteroid admins,

So the server ran out of space or failed last week Friday and it being Tuesday now, when will we be able to send you the completed work?

This is getting as bad as GPUGRID that either breaks over a weekend or runs out of work.

i wrote an email and got this answer:

"Yes, we know about the problems that are caused by full disk. We're working on it, please be patient.

With regards

Josef Durech"

so, they know it and it is worked upon :-)

Hi,

Thanks for the update - I would have thought that is what a website and forum is for but hey...I'm not at Uni so maybe things have changed and now we just fuddle in the dark..

Just me I guess.

I have learned that patience carries a lot of W-A-I-T.

I suppose that we are just going to have to wait. At least we now know that it is not our 'puters. We are NOT alone! :-)

All my work units finally uploaded, but now it will not accept the report, which, I would have thought, would use a trivial, if any, server space. To add to the fun, I can't upload to Rosetta@Home this morning!

Mine finally went through as well, but I got the message "Server temporarily down for maintenance".

As for Rosetta, they've been down for 48 hours or so. According to their Twitter post on Mar 6th, they've been experiencing DNS issues.

I've been BOINCing from the start of BOINC, and indeed, with the old SAH predecessor before that. Patience is usually the acceptable tactic.
