Been trying to upload for an entire 2 days now!
Better get another (10TB) HDD, because it'll be full again soon!

So its not just me. I thought there was something wrong on my end for a while. Its been about 2 days since anything has been able to upload for me aswell.

Been trying to upload for an entire 2 days now!
Better get another (10TB) HDD, because it'll be full again soon!

They are gonna need several 10 TB HDDs just so they can future proof for a while.

I think they may have got caught with their pants down because of the increase of members due to Seti@Home shutting down. Hopefully they will keep a closer eye on the number of new members they are getting and in most cases, these members usually have multiple computers too.

This happened to me as well. I have about a dozen tasks trying to upload.

I'm not sure which is worse: the project periodically running out of work units and going a few days with nothing, or the project periodically running out of disk space for a few days in which WUs cannot be uploaded.....


Actually, I guess I prefer the latter. At least my machines remain gainfully employed, even if they can't upload. It'll catch up eventually....

I have the same problem here. I have 3 WU which are ready to be uploaded but no disk space on the server. And an other two WU are going to be finished soon, too.

Don't know that this is the issue, but the db_purge process is indicated as not running on the server status page. that would certainly cause the disk to fill up.

I prefer the former.
I have plenty of projects I'm supporting, so if one goes down, i can do the second.
What's the worst, is when a project can't accept new WUs, and those WUs pass the deadline!
No PPD for them!

I'm having close to 200 WUs pending for upload....

There are now 25 completed tasks in my progress list "Uploading" for days. Some have deadlines in two days.

What will happen to them? They represent a lot of computer time and resources.

Same here. Someone needs to alert FoxKyong.

25 tasks, it's "nothing", just stop the projet untill they fix the servers issues if you do not want to get them stuck.

I've more than 600-1000 tasks (which get off the upload queue, waiting to validate by the server so they get ride on the BOINC app ; I didn't checked all my PC/servers working on it) and I do not cry that much.

I'm pretty sure that the project manager know about the issue, but maybe he need time to fix this (if he need to add more disk space, there is "NO Magic" for that...)

I would recommend to configure not to accept new tasks, or lower the project's priority settings, so your PC will do other work (like Milkyway is still working).

I just decided to stop running tasks on asteroids until the problem is fixed and wiped out all the completed tasks as i wont get credit for them anyways.
