Hi everyone,
i am a 30+ year old business information scientist living near Stuttgart, Germany.
I like to crunch for BOINC, play computer and board games, reading novels, astronomy and mathematics, recently astrophotography as well, with little to no success in the latter at all. :) |

1. Easy one, my team set up a team challenge and I decided to join in. And the more we know about our universe, the better for our future, I firmly believe. :)
2. Well, the CPU only WUs run quite well, not perfectly, but well enough. This said the optimizations for CPU instruction sets definitely need improving!
3. The download server is causing MANY download errors, so look after this! And before scheduling a maintenance, look first if there are not any challenges running, before ruining hundreds of FINISHED results due to passed deadlines during your maintenance or due to the need to reimage systems at the end of the week! That is electrical power you are wasting here bigtime!
